6 dreams about Egypt since November 2022. In the past couple months, I have had 3 consecutive dreams about Egypt with dear goddess Nephthys and The Great God Shu showing up in each of them...
I think they are trying to tell me something 🤔

Pyramids of Giza - Giza, Egypt
When people think of Egypt, most think of the Pyramids of Giza. Not surprising they are a revered architectural masterpiece. The Pyramids are the oldest of the 7 Wonders of the Ancient World and is still intact. Built during the reign of Pharaoh Khufu between 2589-2566 BC, the largest pyramid, home to King Khufu's tomb, was originally 146.5 meters in height and was the tallest structure on the planet for 3,800 years.
If you're up to the challenge, go inside the largest pyramid to witness Pharaoh Khufu's tomb. It takes time and involves climbing and bending through narrow passages to reach the tomb; when you reach it, it's pure magic...you are witnessing and touching a legendary miracle.
Egyptian Museum - Cairo, Egypt
For all who are interested in the history of ancient Egypt, the Egyptian Museum in Cairo is a must. Spanning more than 10,000 square meters in area, the museum contains over 170,000 artefacts and has the largest collection of Pharaonic antiquities on the planet. Stating "more than a museum," the center has over 100 exhibition galleries and more than 100,000 masterpieces.
The museum opened on 15 November 1901 and was designed by French architect Marcel Dourgnon and constructed by an Italian company owned by Giuseppe Garozzo and Francesco Zaffrani. Since it's official opening, more than 100,000,000 people have visited the museum.
Valley of Kings & Queens - Luxor, Egypt
Another famous site in modern day Luxor, formerly Thebes, is the Valley of the Kings. The site was built during the 18th, 19th and 20th dynasties to house pharaoh's as well as high-ranking people. The Valley of the Kings has over 60 tombs including Ramesses III, IV, and Seti I.
Another necropolis located in the western region of Thebes is The Valley of the Queens. The Valley was built to house tombs of pharaoh's wives, children and officials of high-ranking status. Some of tombs in the Queens Valley includes Ramesses II wife Queen Nefertari, prince Amenherkhopshef, son of Ramesses III and Queen Tanedjemet. The Valley is well known for the famous Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, the longest reigning female pharaoh of Egypt. She became queen at the age of 12 following the death of her father Thutmose I in the 15th century. She ruled for over 20 years even after her husband Thutmose II died.
Bibliotheca Alexandrina - Alexandria, Egypt
Built during the 1st century, the Great Library of Alexandria is one of the largest and most significant libraries in the ancient world. More than a library, it was part of a research institute and has been referred to as Alexandrian Mouseion (shrine of the muses). A cultural center, the library contains thousands of scrolls and works from scholars, writers and intellects such as Socrates, Plato and Homer. The Great Library has experienced several calamities including fires and earthquakes which destroyed its original construction.
Today, after being newly constructed, Bibliotheca Alexandrina’s mission is to continue its legacy of being more than just a library by serving as a cultural center including 1 main library, 6 specialized libraries, 4 museums, 1 planetarium science center, 1 children's science exploratorium, 1 cultural panorama, 1 virtual reality environment, 12 academic research centers, 1 arts center, 16 permanent and 4 temporary exhibits, 1 conference center and 10 institutions. Annually, around 1.5 million people visit Bibliotheca Alexandrina.
Khan El-Khalili Bazaar - Cairo, Egypt
Get treasures and souvenirs at Khan El-Khalili Bazaar. Khan El-Khalili was built in the 14th century and is the oldest open-air bazaar in the Middle East. Located in the historic region of Cairo, you can purchase an array of items including clothing, accessories, spices, perfumes, home decor and food.
Tip: Brush up on your negotiation skills to haggle for the best prices; also visit in the morning time for comfortable weather and to avoid crowds.
Catacombs of Kom el-Shoqafa - Alexandria, Egypt
One of the 7 Wonders of the Medieval World, the Catacombs of Kom el Shuqafa was discovered in 1900 by accident when a donkey fell into its pit. Combining Egyptian, Greek and Roman influences, this burial site has a circular room called the rotunda as you go down a staircase. There are hieroglyphics of Egyptian gods and goddesses including Anubis, Isis and Nephthys and Greek gods including Persephone and Hades.
The catacombs was a public cemetery site that was able to hold 300 corpses. During ancient times, the catacombs were used for burials and commemorative meals. Priests would go to the catacombs to perform rituals and offerings including mummification to aid souls in their journey in the afterlife.
