Today is a very special day! My son makes me proud, every day he gets smarter and smarter and has a beautiful heart. He enjoys watching Where's Waldo and has learned about various continents, countries, states and cities throughout the world through my travels. Before my son went to school today, I asked him 9 countries he wants to go to. Here are the 9 destinations my son wants to visit:
I'm pretty sure this first destination my son named was inspired by his grandmother. Canada is located in North America and is well known for its beautiful landmarks such as Niagara Falls (which my son's grandmother recently visited a few weeks ago), Capilano Suspension Bridge and CN Tower. When I asked my mother about her experience about Niagara Falls, which she visited while she was in New York, USA, was a short distance to travel and has breathtaking views. My son is very excited to go to Canada.
My son fell in love with Egypt just like I am. There is no place in the world like Egypt. The Pyramids of Giza, Nile River, Valley of the Kings and Queens, Egypt has a rich history with innovations in medicine, technology, culture and architecture. I’ve taken my son to the Rosicrucian Egyptian Museum and taught him about ancient Egypt including gods and goddesses. Some of his favorites are Shu, Horus, Bastet, Isis and Nephthys. He's very eager to go inside the Pyramids of Giza and touch Pharaoh Khufu's tomb.
Off to Asia we go. The next destination my son wants to visit is China. My son is very intrigued by dragons as it's one of the zodiac signs in Chinese astrology. There is so much to see in China the most famous arguably is the Great Wall of China as well as the Forbidden City and Temple of Heaven. My son is giving me some ideas and inspiration to travel to Asia.
I was so excited when my son named the 4th place he wants to visit...Italy. I will be traveling there next month and I'm excited my enthusiasm has rubbed off on my son. Italy is a well known destination with many famous cities including Rome, the capital of Italy, Florence, home of the Renaissance Era, and unique city Venice, the former capital of Italy with no roads or cars. I hear my son tell his classmates Venice has no cars and it makes me so happy that's he's learning about the unique traits and beauty of Italia.
The next place my son wants to visit is Türkiye. Türkiye is truly remarkable as its territory covers TWO continents, Europe and Asia. There's so much to do in Türkiye such as getting gifts from the Grand Bazaar and visiting landmarks such as Blue Mosque, Göreme National Park, Dolmabahce Palace and Sultanahmet Square. Türkiye is well known for its rugs, Turkish baths, tea and beautiful architecture.
I guarantee my son will visit the summit of the Eiffel Tower. No intros needed for this world famous, pretty destination, France is well known for its love of beauty, delicious food, beverages and art. Paris is the capital of France and has so much to do including visit one of many cafés (I plan to visit a cat café when I return in November), Louvre Museum, Arc de Triomphe, Eiffel Tower and much more. There's more to France than Paris and other well-known destinations include wine region Burgundy and gorgeous beaches in Nice.
The next destination on my son's list is the United Kingdom. When I showed my son a picture of Big Ben, the first thing he said was "I want to go there." The dear UK has a monarchy system and in London you can take a tour and climb 334 steps to reach the top of Big Ben for around £30. Afternoon tea is a popular custom in the UK and there are many places you can enjoy some of this refreshing beverage.
The 8th place my son wants to visit is Australia. My mom talks about Australia a lot, so I have some ideas how my son feels inspired to visit this beautiful destination. Located south of Asia, Australia is the only country in the world that spans an entire continent and is well known for animals such as kangaroos (which my son thinks are sooo cute) and koalas. It's the smallest continent in the world as well as also one of the largest countries in the world. I can see my son riding through the outback in Australia in the future.
The last place my son said he wants to visit is Costa Rica. There is an episode on Where's Waldo where hero Waldo and heroine Wenda save the rainforest from anti-hero Odlulu and her sidekick ferret Fritz. My son loves watching the animals the episode features including the toucan, quetzal and sloth. Costa Rica is located in Central America south of the United States and has gorgeous beaches and wetlands to visit.
I will always love you my beloved son...his dreams will come true ❤️
