Another Denmark Dream!

Allison

Liselund Park in Borre, Denmark

When I have multiple dreams about the same thing, it speaks to me, like a calling. This past Sunday, I had ANOTHER dream about traveling to Denmark! This is the second time I had a dream about traveling to Denmark! The first dream I had focused on city life in Copenhagen while this dream focused on natural landmarks in Denmark. I did some research to find out more about nature landscapes in Denmark and here are 4 locations that intrigued me:

Landscape #1: The Wadden Sea

Wadden Sea Sunset

The sunset alone is absolutely gorgeous! The Wadden Sea National Park has more than 30 islands and is a safe habitat for anseriformes AKA waterfowls. When visiting there you can take an oyster safari and visit the Wadden Sea Centre.

Landscape #2: The Troll Forest

Troll Forest Inside Rold Forest

Go on an adventure and hike along the curvy trail towards Troll Forest, located in Rold Forest. Contrary to popular belief, trolls originated from Denmark instead of Norway. This forest is home to crocked, twisted pine and beech trees. This strange, unique landmark encourages your imagination to go wild.

Landscape #3: Rubjerg Knude

Appetizing Rubjerg Knude

Welcome to Rubjerg Knude, a municipality being eaten by the North Sea. The landscape is 90 meters above the sea and has been gradually devoured by the sea every year. It is a very beautiful landmark and has a lighthouse that was built in 1900. This is a place I definitely want to visit before it's consumed.

Landscape #4: Bornholm

The Sunshine Island Bornholm

Welcome to the most sunniest location in Denmark...Bornholm! This island boasts the most hours of sunshine than any other landmark in Denmark and has breathtaking white sand beaches. It's also home to the largest medieval fortress in Northern Europe, Hammershus.
