Take a Foreign Language Class
Enrolling into a class is an excellent way to learn a new foreign language. Many schools, including in-person and online, offer multiple language classes. There are also websites that offer complimentary foreign language classes such as Open Culture, Loecsen and Class Central.
When I was working on my bachelor's degree, I studied Spanish, which was invaluable in helping me read, speak, write and understand the language. I also learned about Spanish culture and was fortunate to have amazing teachers who were committed to what they do (one of my professors once invited me to her hacienda in Mexico 😮) and roommates who I used to watch novelas and was able to wear a Mariachi dress while giving a presentation about Mexico to my teacher and classmates (no pics I was having too much fun spinning and dancing💃

A fun way to learn a foreign language is by downloading an app on your phone, tablet or computer. A lot of the apps provide "learning games" that you play for a few minutes a day which helps people who are visually and auditorily inclined. Here are some apps you can download:
Rosetta Stone: A famous immersive language app compatible with iOS, Android, Mac, Windows that offers more than 20 languages including French, Italian, Chinese; cost: Varies by subscription plan 3-months $47.97 USD, 12-months $126 USD, lifetime $199 USD.
Babbel: Another app that's compatible with iOS, Android, Mac and Windows, Babbel states "start speaking in 3 weeks through short, daily language lessons." Duolingo: This is a free iOS and Android app that offers language, math and music courses. Drops: Another free iOS and Android app including over 50 languages such as Korean, Mandarin Chinese, Icelandic and Hebrew. They have received awards for App of the Year and App of the Day and utilize games for lessons. You choose the pace you want to learn, and they provide reminders and streaks to help you along your journey; premium subscription cost: 3 plans including monthly, yearly or lifetime for one-time payment of $159.99.
